Should I sandblast aluminum wheels?
I have a set of aluminum wheels from American Racing in my truck, but became dull and rusty. As no varnish, I thought about using my sandstorm to remove rust. Someone told me that I could use of crushed walnut shells. What job? Where can I get crushed walnut shells? Thank you.
If I were you, and in this situation, I would using "soda" in My Media Blaster. It is similar to talc. I know first hand that u can remove paint from a can of Coke, without damaging the metal with this medium. Watch it and good luck
